Biratnagar is a historical place and third largest city of Nepal. It is also the head quarter of Province 1 of the nation. It is nearly 7 Km north of Jogbani border of India. You can reach Biratnagar either by bus or air flight or by train from India. The conference venue from Bus terminal is nearly 600 m south and from airport it in nearly 4 km south. Taxi and autorikshaw are available at airport and bus stand for the conference destination. The Indian participants can reach Biratnagar by taking train journey to Jogbani railway station and from there the venue is nearly 4 km north. There are direct trains from Indian cities Katihar, Kolkata and New Delhi to Jogbani. The climate in Biratnagar in March is very pleasant and temperature is around 25-30 °C. Biratnagar is a home stay for the tourists to explore their visit to various beautiful tourist sites of province 1 such as Bhedetar. Kanyam, Dharan, KoshiTappu Wildlife Reserve etc.
